Event Marketing B.A.T. Team Member (May 2010 - August 2010)
As a B.A.T. Team Member for the Atlanta Braves, I represented the team at various fairs, festivals, and other community events throughout the Atlanta-Metro Area. I would set up entertainment attractions for fans of all ages while also collecting entry forms for contests that worked as information gathering for potential ticket sales. I would answer questions that fans had in regards to the team, the upcoming schedule of games and promotions, and I would direct them to a sales representative when appropriate. My hard work on the B.A.T. Team payed off, as I was named "Employee of the Month" for July 2010.
Game-Day Promotions Staffer (May 2010 - August 2010)
During the summer of 2010 I also worked on the Promotions Team during all home games. My main responsibility consisted of operating the interactive fan areas during the game and answering fans' questions about the game or Turner Field. Throughout the summer, I would work a B.A.T. Team event and then head back to the stadium for game-day. I also provided on-field support for many large promotions such as a celebrity softball game and many post-game musical performances. My favorite game-day experience was being a member of the Home Depot Tool Race as the Purple Paint Brush. Click here to view a video of a typical race at Turner Field. I also will never forget riding out on a stage for the ceremony to retire Tom Glavine's number in front of 40,000+ fans after a two hour rain delay.
